Every child is born full of possibilities and potential. Unfortunately, the realisation of their potential for some children is limited due to their experiences of neglect, poverty, violence, mental or physical illness, Every day somewhere in New Zealand, Barnardos offers support and advice for vulnerable children and families. This has to continue if we are to put children first. You can share our commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children by leaving a bequest to Barnardos. Every amount gifted will truly make a difference, ensuring that someone is there for New Zealand children in the future.

Because of the importance of your Will, we recommend you get a Solicitor to do this for you. You can click here to find a Solicitor nearest to you.  To make a new Will, update or add a Codicil (amendment) to an existing Will, contact your legal advisor, trustee company or public trust.

The following wording may be useful:

I give and bequeath to Barnardos New Zealand (specify gift)....................................... free of all charges and to be used where most needed. The official receipt from Barnardos New Zealand will be sufficient acknowledgement of having received this gift.
