The Putea Manaaki Fund

The Putea Manaaki Fund was originally set up as a way for Shell New Zealand's corporate staff to donate to Barnardos.

The fund exists to help extraordinary cases of urgent or unusual needs from anyone within the Barnardos network. The process is quick - turnaround can be within days - making it a painless experience for applicants.

Please see below for examples of previous applications.

• $1200 for a family who needed a new fridge freezer after a house fire
• $430 to cover the cost of a new bike for a young boy who's bike was stolen from him
