Becoming a Volunteer
Becoming a volunteer is a very practical way for you to help children in need.
The demand for our services is increasing and we are always looking for people
to help us in our work with New Zealand children.
Becoming a volunteer can be an enjoyable and rewarding way of giving something back to the community. Volunteering also provides an opportunity to learn new skills and meet new people.
Barnardos greatly values the donation of time and skills to help us in our work. There are many ways you can become involved:
Areas to volunteer in:
- Becoming a Corporate Sponsor
- General assistance in our service area such as administration or help in an Early Learning Centre
- Helping in our Wellington based Communications, Information and Advocacy team by helping out in the staff library.
