Family Support
Family Support is a confidential, child-focused service which works along side families who face challenges and want to make positive changes for their children.
Family Support / Social Workers visit families in their own homes, and using a child-focused assessment framework SCARF (Supporting Children and Responding to Families) build a picture of each families strengths and needs. Together the worker and the family, plan actions to resolve the identified challenges. Rural social work service is also offered in Canterbury.
