Social Workers in Schools
The school environment provides a great opportunity to identify and address factors that impact on education, health and wellbeing of children at risk.
Social Workers in Schools work in partnership with the school community, other education agencies, health and welfare sectors and community organisations to remove barriers that impact on child's learning. They ensure that children and their families have access to the appropriate services, so that teachers can concentrate on what they do best - teaching.
This is offered in Invercargill and Hutt Valley. Click here for more information.
