Home Interaction Programme for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY)
HIPPY is an educational programme where parents in their homes are helped to teach their three and a half year olds basic reading, math and problem solving skills that will help them to be more prepared for when they start school.
Helping your whanau/family in your own home makes a big difference to how they will learn in school. HIPPY children feel good about themselves and love learning. Click here from more information.
Barnardos offers this service in North Shore City, Auckland.

"Because children do not vote, it is easy for politicians to ignore their interests, but they can't ignore us when we speak for children."
