Become an educator

As a Barnardos KidStart educator, you'll work in your own home providing childcare for up to four children under five years. You can choose the days and hours that suit you and your family, and we’ll collect the fees from parents and pay you directly so you can focus on the children.

We'll give you all the training you need and great ongoing support, and you’ll pay no course fees when you enrol in the NZQA level 4 Open Polytechnic Certificate in Early Childhood Practice.
