Barnardos is one of the leading community providers of Early Childhood Care in New Zealand since 1972.

We offer both centre-based and home-based early childhood education in most areas of New Zealand.

All our early childhood services are licensed by the Ministry of Education and regularly reviewed by the Education Review Office and are in line with Te Whāriki, the National Early Childhood curriculum. The programmes focus on language, art, science, music, early maths and Maori culture and are tailored to meet the needs of each child.

Barnardos Early Learning Centres and Barnardos KidStart offer 20 Hours ECE care and education a week for three and four year olds.
