Structure
Board
Governance is provided for Barnardos through the Barnardos Board. The Board provides Barnardos with its direction by setting the organisation's overall policy direction and by monitoring outcomes using such measures as key performance indicators (KPIs).
The Board consists of volunteer members elected, by Barnardos society members, because of their expertise and professional standing in a variety of areas which have a bearing on Barnardos activities. The Board meets five to six times a year and also participates in the Annual General Meeting.
